Here are some articles I have written about pedagogical topics. I
wrote some for graduate classes in instructional technology at
University
of Texas in Austin. Eventually, this page will have web tutorials for
various technical topics. You can also find articles in the
computers section or in the idiotprogrammer
weblog.

original version was published in HAL-PC Magazine, but the revised
version has the correct links.

use of computer/electronic games for pedagogical
purposes. It also sketches the features of a successful educational

2001. The article responds to critiques of group-based learning.
- Linux and Distributed Learning: A New Paradigm? This article talks about why conventional teaching methods don't work very well with learning about technology.
