Projects: Nontechnical
This somewhat barren page contains links to nonprofessional web
pages by Robert Nagle. Eventually my my professional writings should
appear on www.idiotprogrammer.com and
my personal/nontechnical/creative should appear elsewhere. Usually, my
nonprofessional stuff will appear on www.imaginaryplanet.net ,
but this will not always be true, and actually, I've only started on
that site. I'm still in the process of converting a lot of documents,
so it may take a good while. If anything, this page will offer a
status report on that effort.
Projects
- Though not updated all too often, the Robert Nagle Literary Page
contains links to major projects. I'm moving over to a better content management system soon.
- "East European Experiments" is a collection of essays I wrote
about living in Eastern Europe. I have written 4 essays so far and
have plans to write enough essays for a book. So far, I have put only
one of the web, my description of Albanian
civil unrest in 1997 , but when I find the time, I'll try to put
up more. In December, I plan to put out a travel essay about Ukraine.
- Asiafirst
Weblog contains essays in English about contemporary
art and culture of India and China, with a special focus on
high-quality writing. It is updated once or twice or week, with
entries alternating between India and China. Unlike my Idiotprogrammer technology
weblog (a genre with already too many entrants), the asiafirst weblog
addresses an important need: the imminent deluge of Asian culture that
is about to hit the USA in the next 5 or 10 years.
- Here's a longish essay advocating a voluntary compensation model for artists .
